Weather Underground terrorist teaching at Columbia University
Boudin and her Weathermen family were directly connected to the Puerto Rican terrorist group FALN who proudly claimed my father Frank Connor’s murder at Fraunces Tavern in 1975. These 1960s, 70s and early 80s groups were sworn to the violent over throw of The United States in favor of a socialist state.
When they realized they could not defeat America by bombings, murder and mayhem, they turned to academia, media and politics. We see the same trends with Islamic terrorists (insinuating themselves as “leaders” of society) who horrendously murdered our father’s god son, cousin Steve Schlag on 9/11/01 as my brother and I eye witnessed the attacks from our downtown offices.
Is it any surprise that Boudin’s comrade Bill Ayers is also a “respected member of academia” and an associate of President Obama? Is it any surprise that Robert Redford’s film “The Company you keep” (being released this week) reportedly glorifies the murderous thugs of the Weather Underground?
Is it any surprise that the unrepentant terrorists of the FALN were granted clemency (without requesting) in 1999 by the Clintons (masterminded by Eric Holder) for the purely cynical, political motive of Hillary’s run for senate from NY?
These academics, politicians and media elites claim compassion as they glorify, romanticize and reward radical violence against innocent Americans; putting their political agenda ahead the lives of victims and victims’ families.
Abraham Lincoln warned, “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”
Lincoln knew us better than we know ourselves; seeing today 150 years ago.
While some of us saw this coming (please see a piece I did on March 20, 2009 in Redstate.com) , will we only know ourselves when its too late, through the hollow eyes of hindsight?
